MAINFRAME
MainFrame is a variable thickness pattern of grooves, channels, and cavities carefully milled into the backside of ZX4 Mk II, ZX5 Mk II, and ZX Mk II Utility Iron faces that maximizes flex at impact. MainFrame not only boosts COR, it also repositions mass away from the face and into the toe and sole for a lower Center of Gravity. This creates more than just faster ball speed, but also more consistency and forgiveness, enhancing all aspects of your Iron play, shot for shot.
SOLE NOTCHES
Sole notches on the heel and toe sides lessen drag by reducing the amount of surface area that contacts the ground. Ultimately, they provide better clubhead speed through turf and improve shot versatility without sacrificing forgiveness.

By far the best feeling, consistent and forgiving utility club I have used. Having tried driving irons/utilities from other manufactures, the ZX MK II really stands out for me. It also blends nicely with the look of other Srixon irons (I play the ZX 7s).

Want to hit it high, low, fade, draw, fairway, or off the tee. This club is a game changer. Easy to hit consistently and straight. Feels like an 8 iron but can blast it 240-270. Has helped in so many situations on the links courses I play. Graphite shaft extra stiff was the right play for me. Feels like butter.

I topped by bag (ZX5 MK2 5-PW) with the 3-4 iron MK2 utility irons. I use the 3 iron off the tee regularly on par 4's/5's and often for second shots depending on the lie. The 3 iron for me goes about 215 carry and rolls would to about 230-35 depending on conditions. The 4 iron I tend to use off the tee on longer par 3's and on approach shots around 200 yards out - off the tee I get about 200-205 carry with a 210 total.
